$150 vs. $450 Detail??
When paying for a detail, it pays to understand what you are getting for your money and more importantly how the process will be performed. The number one greatest factor that will affect your price is paint polishing as this takes time to perform and in general the higher your expectations, the higher the cost. When a customer asks me to make his paint flawless, I have to ask how the car will be taken care of and where it lives at night whether on the street or in a garage because this will determine how long the paint will stay flawless. In other words, if your paint is scratched and swirled because of poor maintenance techniques and you hire me to restore the paint to better than new condition, the swirls will "come back" as soon as you continue those same bad techniques that lead to the paint neglect in the first place.

What happened to the eShop?
The eShop online store began as a store hosted on the SCD discussion forum server and has moved to its own server at http://www.ShowCarSupplies.com There has been no change in store ownership. The store has only moved to another web server and now lives under its own domain name.

What is your free inspection process?
Every SCD detail begins with a free inspection and a short interview. Here I have the owner tell me about the problems they face and what bothers them the most. This also lets me understand how knowledgeable the owner is about paint care. Next I assess the paint condition and advise the owner where the problems are and what can or cannot be fixed. I'll perform a "test spot" that shows to the owner before their very eyes, how good their paint can look. Paint polishing is strictly a paint removal process where minute amounts of paint are removed to reveal the beauty within. Not every car can be restored successfully and not every paint polisher provides the same results.
